1 Scope
This Standard specifies two test methods (manual and automatic) for cloud point of petroleum product, biodiesel and biodiesel fuel blend, among which manual method is arbitration method.
This Standard is only applicable to tests for cloud point of petroleum product, biodiesel and biodiesel fuel blend that are transparent in 40mm thick layers, and with a cloud point below 49℃.
Note: the color of specimens which this Standard applies to is 3.5 or lower (according to GB/T 6540); this Standard is also used to test cloud point of specimen with a cloud point greater than 3.5, but the precisions stated in this Standard may not apply to such specimen.
