High speed gear units technical specifications
1 Scope
This document specifies the product code, overall dimensions, technical requirements, whole machine test method, accompanying documents and special tools as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of high speed gear units [1) The high speed gear units described in this document includes necessary components such as gears, shafts, boxes, sliding bearings, ventilation units, temperature measuring elements, bolts, seals and optional auxiliary components such as turning gears, oil pumps, vibration measuring elements, bases, couplings, oil mist fans. The gear structure is single helical teeth or double helical teeth. See GB/T 1357 for normal modulus of gears. There is generally no common divisor for the number of teeth of large and small gears, and the tooth ratio is generally not an integer.
]1)(hereinafter referred to as "gear units").
This document is applicable to gear units with external meshing involute parallel shaft cylindrical hard tooth surface supported by sliding bearings in petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy and other industries, with tooth profile conforming to GB/T1356, pinion speed not less than 3000 r/min or pitch circle linear speed not less than 30 m/s. Other high speed gear units with similar structure may be implemented with reference to this document.
This document does not apply to gear units integrated with other rotating equipment such as prime mover or working machine.
