GB/T 9252-2001 Method for cycling test of gas cylinders English
1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements, test method and inspection rules of test apparatus.
This standard is applicable to cycling test of gas cylinders with a nominal working pressure not greater than 30 MPa (gauge pressure, the same below) and a nominal volume not greater than 1 m3.
This standard is not applicable to gas cylinders already filled with solid packing.
2 Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following definitions apply.
2.1
pressure cycling
process that the pressure is completed in the order of boosting pressure - holding pressure - decreasing pressure - holding pressure during cycling test
2.2
cyclic pressure
repeated alternating pressure value applied during cycling test, which is called upper limit of cyclic pressure when it reaches the specified maximum value during pressure boosting and lower limit of cyclic pressure when it reaches the specified minimum value during pressure decreasing
2.3
pressure holding time
time that the pressure is kept constant at the upper/lower limit of cyclic pressure in the cycling process
2.4
cycling frequency
number of pressure cycles per unit time
2.5
pressure cycling waveform
record of pressure changes with time for each pressure cycle, that is, p-t curve
2.6
gas cylinder under test
general term of gas cylinders ready for cycling test, undergoing cycling test and after being subjected to cycling test
