Test method of phenolic resin for ablative materials - Test of alkalimetal and alkalin-earth metal
1 Subject content and applicable scope
This standard specifies the analytical method for determination of alkalimetal and alkalin-earth metal in phenolic resin with atomic absorption spectrophotometer.
It is applicable to the determination of Na, K, Ca and Mg contents in phenolic resin for ablative materials.
2 Normative references
GB 602 Chemical reagent - Preparations of standard solutions for impurity
GB 8151.6 Methods for chemical analysis of zinc concentrates - Part 6: Determination of copper content - The flame atomic absorption spectrometric method
3 Method summary
After being soaked in sulfuric acid, the test portion is ashed with oxygen passed, and the ash is dissolved in hydrochloric acid and converted into solution. Cesium salt is added as deionization agent, and the contents of Na, K, Ca and Mg are respectively determined by air-acetylene flame at wavelengths of 589.0nm, 766.5nm, 422.7nm and 285.2nm with atomic absorption spectrophotometer.
4 Reagents
4.1 Sulfuric acid: complying with GB 625, guaranteed reagent.
4.2 Hydrochloric acid: complying with GB 622, guaranteed reagent.
4.3 Sulfuric acid solution: (5+95).
4.4 Hydrochloric acid solution: (1+1).
4.5 Hydrochloric acid solution: (1+9).
4.6 Cesium carbonate solution (25mg Cs+ per 1ml solution): place 3.0640g of cesium carbonate (guaranteed reagent) in a proper amount of water, and drop hydrochloric acid (4.4) to make carbon dioxide escape completely. Transfer the solution into a 1,000mL volumetric flask, dilute to the scale with water and mix well.
4.7 Sodium standard solution (0.1mg Na per 1ml solution): according to 4.42 of GB 602.
4.8 Potassium standard solution (0.1mg K per 1ml solution): according to 4.49 of GB 602.
4.9 Calcium standard solution (0.1mg Ca per 1ml solution): according to 4.5 of GB 602.
4.10 Magnesium standard solution (0.1mg Mg per 1ml solution): according to 4.43 of GB 602.
