1 Subject Content and Application Scope
1.0.1 This Standard specifies the requirements of the structural design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance, testing methods and storage, handling, transport and installation of the PTFE which is the liner (loose lining) of chemical equipments made of carbon steel or low alloy steel.
1.0.2 This Standard applies to:
Design temperature: >-20℃~≤180℃
Design pressure: ≤0.6 MPa (gauge pressure)
Single section height or length of the equipment: ≤1400mm
Drum diameter: ≤2000mm
1.0.3 The Standard is not applicable to:
Equipment which is heated with jacket and threaded connection;
Equipment which is heated with direct flame;
Equipment suffering radiation effects;
Equipment with vibration and temperature shock;
Vacuum equipment;
Equipment handled frequently.
