1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies the specification, dimension, manufacture process, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging and quality certificate with regards to the welded austenitic stainless steel pipe for chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
This standard is applicable to the welded austenitic stainless steel pipe for chemical plant installations (hereinafter referred to as welded pipe), which is produced by the continuous automatic welding without welding wire.
