1.0.1 This standard is formulated to standardize the design of plate flange manholes with davit to vertical cover, reduce repetitive design work, ensure product quality and improve comprehensive benefits.
1.0.2 This standard is applicable to the design of steel plate flange manholes with davit to vertical cover with a nominal pressure of PN6 in chemical, petrochemical plants and other similar plants.
1.0.3 In addition to this standard, the design of steel plate flange manholes with davit to vertical cover shall also meet those specified in the relevant current national standards.
2 Structural type and size
2.0.1 The structural type of plate flange manholes with davit to vertical cover shall meet the requirements of Figure 2.0.1.
