Diesel engines - Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems - Part 4: Urea solution supply pump
1 Scope
This part of JB/T 11880 specifies the terms and definitions, types and models, requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of urea solution supply pump (hereafter referred to as “urea pump”).
This part is applicable to diesel engines and other vehicles equipped with SCR systems, and may serve as a reference for engines for other purposes.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

urea solution supply pump
device for conveying urea solution to urea injector, which is classified into air-assisted urea solution supply pump and airless-assisted urea solution supply pump
3.2
air-assisted urea solution supply pump
device for conveying urea solution in accurate metering to urea injector with the assistance of air, which has supply and metering functions
3.3
airless-assisted urea solution supply pump
device for conveying urea solution to urea injector, which only has supply function
3.4
liquid pressure sensor
sensing element for transmitting the pressure signal of urea solution in the urea pump
3.5
gas pressure sensor
sensing element for transmitting the pressure signal of gas in the urea pump
3.6
electronic control unit
electronic control unit for metering urea solution injection quantity and fault diagnosis
3.7
urea pump rated condition
ambient temperature: 25±2℃; urea temperature: 25±2℃; relative humidity: 50%~60%; outlet back pressure: 101±5kPa
3.8
urea pump rated flow
nominal value of the specified volume flow discharged from the pump outlet during normal operation under rated condition
