Tyred Self-propelled Platform Transporter
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the tyred self-propelled platform transporter which runs off-highway (hereinafter referred to as the platform transporter)
This standard is applicable to the tyred self-propelled platform transporter which runs off-highway and has the steering function of single or multi-mode driving.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
rubber tyre self-propelled platform transporter
a vehicle provided with a through platform at the top, and each wheel set provided with an independent hydraulic suspension, may drive and steer in single or multi-mode, and is used to transport large structural members and vehicles with other transport functions; it mainly composed of hydraulic suspension, driving system, steering system, cargo platform, etc., and it has two structural types: independent type and modular type, as shown in Figures 1 and 2
Note: Hydraulic transmission is the main driving and steering mode, and mechanical transmission may also be used.

rated load
maximum allowable weight carried by the specified area of the loading platform of the platform transporter
3.3
unladen mass
the mass when a platform transporter has no load, no driver, only auxiliary equipment and tools, and is filled with sandstone and cooling water
