This Standard specifies all the requirements of metal tube electric heating element (hereinafter referred to as element), including product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, order and supply.
This Standard is applicable to the tubular electric heating element with working voltage not exceeding 440 V and by adopting metal tube as enclosure, which is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements of Articles 3.1, 4.1 and 4.2.
This Standard is not applicable to the daily tubular electric heating elements or the elements of similar purposes.
For the elements used in vacuum or in environment where absolute pressure of medium exceeds 1MPa as well as elements with special requirements, they shall meet not only this Standard, but also the corresponding standards with special requirements.
