JB/T 2379-2016 Metallic tube type electroheating elements
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage, ordering and supply of metallic tube type electroheating elements (hereinafter referred to as "elements").
This standard is applicable to metallic tube type electroheating elements with metallic tubes as cases.
This standard is not applicable to tube type electroheating elements for daily and similar uses.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 2900.23-2008 and GB/T 10066.1-2004 as well as the following apply.
3.1
metallic tube type electroheating elements
electroheating element with a metallic tube as the case, an alloy heating wire as the heater, leads protruding from one end or both ends, and a dense magnesium oxide powder insulating medium filled in the metallic tube to fix the heating element
3.2
lead
conductive metallic part connected with the heater to connect the element with the power supply or another element
3.3
stretching length
L
sum of the length of the straight and curved portions of the metallic tube on the element drawing, in millimeters (mm)
