This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, main technical parameters, types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of daily-use metallic tube electric heating element (hereinafter referred to as "element").
This standard is applicable to element installed in domestic electrical appliance, with rated voltage not exceeding 480V and rated power of single tube not exceeding 6000W.
This standard is not applicable to:
- Elements exclusively for industrial use;
- Elements working under vacuum environment or environment with absolute pressure greater than 1MPa;
- Elements working under inflammable and explosive environment.
