Heavy Mechanical General Techniques and Standards - Part 11: Attached Piping
1 Scope
This part of JB/T 5000 specifies technical and safety requirements of attached piping.
This Part is applicable to oil lubrication, grease lubrication, hydraulic, pneumatic and industrial water attached piping on heavy machinery principal part.
This Part is not applicable to attached piping for pressure vessels.

3 Technical Requirements in Attached Piping Fabrication
3.1 Inspection before attached piping of pipes and spare parts
3.1.1 Spare parts self-made in the manufacturer may be assembled upon passing the tests of the quality inspection department.
3.1.2 Outsourcing materials and spare parts shall meet the requirements of JB/T 5000.1.
3.1.3 Confirmation of pipe diameter, material and wall thickness
3.2 Pipes may be cut with saw or grinding wheel, but flame cutting. Verticality of the cross-section of cut pipes shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1.

3.3 Before assembling, all pipes shall be removed from flash edge and burrs at pipe end, and arranged chamfer angle. Compressed air or other method may be used for removing sundries and floating rust on internal wall of pipe. Fabrication of stainless steel pipeline shall be separated from that of carbon steel pipeline, to prevent stainless steel pipeline being contaminated. For pipe blanking, enough allowance shall be reserved, in convenience of bending clamping and compensation adjustment.
