Construction machinery - General specification for spheroidal graphite cast iron
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of spheroidal graphite cast iron for construction machinery.
This standard is applicable to the ordinary and low alloy spheroidal graphite cast iron (hereinafter referred to as “casting”) cast in sand molds or molds with thermal conductivity equivalent to sand molds.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 1348-2009 and GB/T 5611 apply.
4 Requirements
4.1 Grade
The grade of the casting shall meet the requirements of GB/T 1348.
4.2 Mechanical property
The mechanical property of the casting shall meet the requirements of 7.1 ~ 7.4 in GB/T 1348-2009.
4.3 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of the casting shall be determined by the manufacturer or by negotiation between the purchaser and the supplier.
4.4 Metallographic microstructure
Where there are special requirements for metallographic microstructure of the casting, it shall be indicated in the drawing or relevant technical documents, and shall meet the requirements of GB/T 9441.
4.5 Geometric shapes and dimensions
The geometric shapes and dimensions of the casting shall meet the requirements of user product drawings and technical documents.
4.6 Dimensional tolerance
4.6.1 Dimensional tolerance class
The class of tolerance of the casting shall be selected according to Table 1 of this standard, and the dimensional tolerance shall meet those specified in Table 1 of GB/T 6414-2017.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of spheroidal graphite cast iron for construction machinery.

3 Terms and definitions

4 Requirements
4.1 Grade
The grade of the casting shall meet the requirements of GB/T 1348.
4.2 Mechanical property
The mechanical property of the casting shall meet the requirements of 7.1 ~ 7.4 in GB/T 1348-2009.
4.3 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of the casting shall be determined by the manufacturer or by negotiation between the purchaser and the supplier.
4.4 Metallographic microstructure
Where there are special requirements for metallographic microstructure of the casting, it shall be indicated in the drawing or relevant technical documents, and shall meet the requirements of GB/T 9441.
4.5 Geometric shapes and dimensions
The geometric shapes and dimensions of the casting shall meet the requirements of user product drawings and technical documents.
4.6 Dimensional tolerance
4.6.1 Dimensional tolerance class
The class of tolerance of the casting shall be selected according to Table 1 of this standard, and the dimensional tolerance shall meet those specified in Table 1 of GB/T 6414-2017.
