Linear Motion Rolling Bearings-Linear Needle Roller and Cage Assemblies
1 Scope
This standard specifies the structural types, designation methods, boundary dimensions and technical conditions of needle roller (including cylindrical roller) and cage assemblies (hereinafter referred to as “assemblies”) in linear motion rolling bearings.
This standard is applicable to the production, inspection and customer acceptance of assemblies.

3 Symbols
Unless otherwise stated, the symbols shown in figures (excluding tolerance symbols) and the values given in the tables denote nominal dimensions.
B: Width of assembly;
Dw: Diameter of needle roller (cylindrical roller) in assembly;
L: Length of assembly;
b: The distance from one end of the assembly to anther end of the needle roller in the horizontal section of V-type assembly;
VDwsp: The diameter variation of needle roller (cylindrical roller) in single plane in the assembly;
VDwL: The diameter variation of a batch of needle rollers (cylindrical rollers) in assembly;
△Dwmp: The average diameter deviation of needle roller (cylindrical roller) in single plane in the assembly .
4 Designation Methods and Structural Types
4.1 Designation Methods
Designations of assemblies listed in this standard and their and meanings are detailed in JB/T 10335-2002.
4.2 Structural Types
This standard specifies two structural types of assemblies:
LNS…NC Single row needle roller (cylindrical roller) and cage flat assemblies (see Figure 1);
LNS…NCW Double row needle roller (cylindrical roller) and cage V-type assemblies (see Figure 2).
