1 Scope
This Standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and inspection methods of the wire type image quality indicator applied for industrial radiography determination.
This Standard is applicable to the wire type image quality indicators made of steel, aluminum, titanium, copper and other metals.
This Standard is applicable to the type and delivery inspections of the wire type image quality indicator. This Standard may also serve as the acceptance criteria for user order.
Appendix A describes another kind of dedicated wire type image quality indicator.
