Non-ceramic sanitary ware
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, identification, packaging, transport and storage of non-ceramic sanitary ware.
This standard is applicable to non-ceramic sanitary ware used in buildings and public places.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
non-ceramic sanitary ware
sanitary ware made of materials other than ceramic materials
3.2
sanitary ware of acrylic
non-ceramic sanitary ware made of acrylic sheet and reinforced materials
3.3
sanitary ware of artificial stone
non-ceramic sanitary ware made of unsaturated polyester and/or methyl methacrylate as matrix and other chemical raw materials such as natural mineral materials
4 Classification
4.1 It is classified by purpose into seven categories, namely pedestal pan, urinal, wash basin, bidet, sink, bathtub and shower tray. See Table 1 for the classification.
4.2 It is classified by material into sanitary ware of acrylic and sanitary ware of artificial stone. See Table 1 for the classification.
