This standard specifies the basic requirements for product packaging of safety glazing materials for automobiles.
This standard is applicable to the packaging of safety glazing materials for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as safety glazing materials) as well as for other road vehicles.

3 Packaging Technology Requirements
3.1 Preparation for product packaging
3.1.1 Product
The product may be packaged if it conforms to the requirements of GB 9656 through inspection.
3.1.2 Packaging material
3.1.2.1 The material adopted for the packaging box shall be hard enough, not liable to damage and guaranteed not to affect product quality during normal transport and storage.
3.1.2.2 Each piece of glazing shall be packaged with a plastic bag or other measures may be taken between two pieces of glazing to prevent glazing surface scratching.
3.1.2.3 Light and soft materials shall be used to fill up the interspace between the glazing and the packaging box inner surface, or fastening device may be applied.

3 Packaging Technology Requirements
