1.0.1 In order to use rebar mechanical joint with state-of-art technology, security and adaptability, economic feasibility and quality guaranteed, the regulation is constituted.
1.0.2 The regulation is applied to the design, application and acceptance of mechanical splicing component(hereinafter referred to as splicing component or joint)used in house and normal construction. The application of various mechanical splicing components should comply with specifications in the regulation.
1.0.3 The rebar used in mechanical splicing should correspond with the specifications of national standard "Hot Rolled Ribbed Bars for the Reinforcement of Concrete" 1499 and "Remained Heat Treatment Ribbed Steel Bars for the Reinforcement of Concrete" GB 13014. The regulation should be executed according to the active resolved compelling specifications.
