1.0.1 This specification is formulated with view to adapt the requirements for transportation development and highway construction, improve technical class, application quality and design quality of cement concrete pavement and guarantee safety, reliability, economy and rationality of the engineering;
1.0.2 This specification is applicable to cement concrete pavement design of constructed and reconstructed highway of various classes.
1.0.3 Design scheme of cement concrete pavement shall be determined through comprehensive analysis according to the function and class of highway and combining conditions of local climate, hydrology, geology, material, construction and curing as well as engineering practice experience and environmental protection.
1.0.4 Cement concrete pavement design shall include structural composition design, structural layer thickness design, material composition design, joint structure design and reinforcement design.
1.0.5 Cement concrete pavement structure shall bear expected traffic load effect, adapt the natural environment and satisfy planned service performance requirements within design reference period according to specified safety classes and objective reliability requirements.
1.0.6 Cement concrete pavement design shall meet not only those specified in this specification, but also those specified in the current relevant national standards.
