1 Scope
This standard specifies basic safety requirements, fuel quality control, aircraft refuelling division and responsibility, metering exchange, refueling procedure and emergency disposal procedure for refuelling unit on the civil aircraft and its maintenance, inspection and documents.
This standard is applicable to refuelling (defuelling) operation of various civil aircrafts using petroleum liquid fuel.
This standard does not apply to overwater refuelling (defuelling) of amphibious aircraft.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Tank refueller
Special purpose vehicle which is equipped with oil tank, oil pump, filter separator, pressure control device, flowmeter, refuelling rubber hose and connector (oil gun), which is able to refuel or defuel the aircraft independently and has the functions of oil pumping, voltage regulation, purification and metering.
3.2
Hydrant dispenser
Special purpose vehicle which is equipped with filter separator, pressure control device, flowmeter, refuelling rubber hose and connector, which is able to refuel the aircraft independently through apron pipeline and has the functions of voltage regulation, purification and metering.
