1 Scope
This standard specifies the quality control procedures and requirements of aviation fuel during acceptance, receiving, transfer, storage, dispatching, refueling, inspection, blending and other procedures.
This standard is applicable to quality management of commercial aviation fuel in airport transfer fuel depot, airport fuel depot and aviation fueling station in large and medium-sized civil airports.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Quality certificate of refinery
The document used by the refinery to prove the batch of aviation fuel qualified
3.2
Laboratory test report of fuel
The document showing the quality test results of aviation fuel
3.3
Single-tank composite sample
The sample made by mixing the upper, middle and lower sample in the fuel tank
3.4
Multiple-tank composite sample
The sample made by taking several portions of sample from the containers containing the same kind of fuel and mixing them at a certain volume ratio
3.5
Drain line sample
The sample collected from the pollution discharge point of storage tank, fuel tank on tank truck or filter
3.6
Bottom sample
The sample collected from the lowest point on the bottom surface of a container
3.7
Line sample
The sample collected from flowing fuel
3.8
Hose end sample
The sample collected from refueling connection or refueling nozzle at the end of refueling hose of tank refueller or hydrant dispenser
