Bacterial pesticides - Bacillus subtilis - Part 2: Bacillus subtilis wettable powders (WP)
1 Scope
This part specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection and acceptance, marking, labeling, packaging, storage and transportation of bacterial pesticides of Bacillus subtilis wettable powders (WP).
This part is applicable to the bacillus subtilis wettable powders, which is made of bacillus subtilis technical concentrates with spores as the main component and added with appropriate additives and fillers.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1
Bacillus subtilis wettable powders (WP)
powdery preparation made by Bacillus subtilis technical concentrates and appropriate additives and fillers, which may be dispersed in water to form a stable suspension solution
3.2
colony forming units (CFU)
dilute Bacillus subtilis wettable powder with water to obtain bacterial solution, disperse its single spore on agar plate through coating. After being cultured, every viable spore forms a colony, that is, a colony forming unit (CFU), and calculate the viable spore density in a unit microbial pesticide sample by observing the number of colonies with naked eyes
3.3
number of microbial contamination
sum of the number of microbial colonies except Bacillus subtilis colony in the Bacillus subtilis wettable powder
3.4
frequency of microbial contamination
percentage rate of the amount of other fungi and bacteria except Bacillus subtilis in the Bacillus subtilis wettable powder in the total bacteria amount
3.5
storage stability
relative percentage ratio of the number of viable fungal of the Bacillus subtilis wettable powder to its indicated value after storage at room temperature and (or) below room temperature for a certain period of time
