Household and similar electrical dishwasher
1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements such as safety, service performance, structure and materials of household and similar electrical dishwasher, specifies the corresponding test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements, and gives the product classification suitable for technical requirements.
This document is applicable to the production, inspection and sale of household and similar electrical dishwasher with single-phase rated voltage not exceeding 250V and other rated voltage not exceeding 480V.
This document is not applicable to the production, inspection and sale of dishwashers specially designed for commercial use.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

electrical dishwasher
appliance driven by electric energy, which relies on chemical, mechanical and thermal energy to wash, rinse and dry tableware
3.2
rated capacity

number of standard tableware sets that may be handled by the dishwasher at one time, as clearly indicated in the appliance instruction or by the manufacturer according to the requirements of Annex B, GB 38383-2019

3.3
standard washing program
main program used in the performance test hereof (unless otherwise specified for the test), as clearly indicated in the appliance instruction or by the manufacturer, generally including the operation process of complete functions such as main washing, rinsing and drying
Note: Unless otherwise stated, the default program upon start is used for relevant test.
