1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of household and similar electrical vacuum cleaners.
This standard is applicable to electrically driven vacuum cleaners (hereinafter referred to as "vacuum cleaners") which are used in homes and similar occasions and do not require professional operation.
This standard is applicable to vacuum cleaners within the scope of GB 4706.7.
This standard is not applicable to the following products:
——Wet vacuum cleaner;
——Carpet cleaning machine;
——Floor polisher with dust collector;
——Vacuum cleaner specially used for cleaning clothes or automobiles and other special purposes;
——Industrial vacuum cleaner;
——Household automatic cleaning appliance.

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply.

cleaning head
rolling brush, floor brush, or electric floor brush attached to the suction pipe, separate or part of the main body of the vacuum cleaner which is the part of the vacuum cleaner used to clean surfaces
3.2
cleaning head width
max external width of the cleaning head

double stroke
cleaning head completes a reciprocating operation of moving forward first and then returning
3.4
radius of operation
max distance from the end face of the power plug used by the vacuum cleaner to the front edge of the cleaning head
