1 Scope
This standard specifies terms and definitions, classification, requirements, testing conditions, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport, storage and application guideline of derlin zipper.
It is applicable to derlin zipper (hereinafter referred to as "zipper") but not applicable to special zipper.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18746 apply.
4 Classification
4.1 The zipper is divided into finished zipper and chain zipper, where the former one may be reclassified into open-end zipper and close-end zipper. Open-end zipper is composed of one way open-end zipper and two way open-end zipper. One way open-end zipper is reclassified into common one way open-end zipper and circular one way open-end zipper; close-end zipper is composed of one way close-end zipper and two way close-end zipper, where the latter one may be divided into two way C/E zipper with head-to-head sliders and two way C/E zipper with bottom-to-bottom sliders. Chain zipper refers to long chain zipper. See Figure 1.
