Electrical wet vacuum cleaners
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of electrical wet vacuum cleaners for household and similar purposes.
This standard is applicable to electrically driven wet vacuum cleaners (hereinafter referred to as "wet vacuum cleaners") used in homes and similar occasions, as well as wet functional parts of wet and dry vacuum cleaners.
This standard is not applicable to the following products:
——Dry vacuum cleaners;
——Vacuum cleaners with water as filter medium;
——Floor polisher with dust collector;
——Vacuum cleaners specially used for cleaning clothes or automobiles and other special purposes;
——Industrial vacuum cleaners;
——Cleaning robots for household and similar purposes.

For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

electrical wet vacuum cleaner
appliance that can remove liquid or solid-liquid mixed dirt by generating air flow based on vacuum principle
3.2
cleaning head
plain nozzle or a brush attached to a connecting tube, or a power nozzle, separate or part of the cleaner housing, and that part of a vacuum cleaner which is applied to a surface to be cleaned
