For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions defined in GB/T 5179 and the followings apply.
3.1
max. working angle
the maximum swing angle normally achievable by turning the universal joint to the extent no interference is generated between the two joint forks
3.2
swing moment
the value of the swinging moment of the universal joint fork swinging around the universal joint pin with the other universal joint fork fixed
3.3
clearance in turning direction
the clearance of the universal joint in turning direction
3.4
clearance of universal joint pin in axial direction
the clearance between the end face of the universal joint pin and the bearing or adjustment washer
