3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 5179 and the following apply.
3.1
controller working properly
automobile electrical power steering (hereinafter referred to as the device) is installed on the test bench, the controller, motor and sensor are connected normally, and the whole vehicle signal is input normally. After the power supply is turned on, the steering wheel is turned left and right with normal power.
3.2
controller failure
The controller is considered to have failed if one of the following conditions occurs:
a) During the functional test, it is not smooth with stagnation, has obvious vibration and has obvious inertia delay phenomenon in the process of turning the steering wheel due to the controller;
b) During the performance test, the input and output characteristic curve does not meet the manufacturer's requirements or the variation is more than 15% or the symmetry of the curve is less than 90% due to the controller;
