Vibration test method for solid rocket motors for tactical missiles
This standard specifies the vibration test conditions and methods for solid rocket motors for tactical missiles (hereinafter referred to as motor or test piece), which is the basis for preparing technical documents of vibration test for solid rocket motors for tactical missiles.
1 Test objective
The vibration test aims to check whether the structural integrity and property stability of the motor can be kept under the vibration environment during missile flight.
2 Test conditions
2.1 Test values
The vibration test values shall be measured or calculated. They may be selected from the values listed in Table 1 and the curve shown in Figure 1 when no satisfactory measured or calculated data are available, and may be selected from Annex A when no random vibration test conditions are available.
Table 1 Test grade
If the known excitation is expected to be below 20Hz, the random vibration curve may be extended to 10Hz on the existing basis.
2.2 Direction of excitation application
Excitation is applied in the radial and axial directions of the motor.
2.3 Test duration
30min in each direction (which is reduced to 5min when the missile flight distance is less than 160KM).
2.4 Tolerance of vibration parameters
2.4.1 The tolerance measured at the control point in the entire frequency range is as follows:
For displacement value: ±10%.
1 Test objective
2 Test conditions
3 Test equipment and technology
4 Test procedures
5 Evaluation of test results
6 Test record
