1 Scope
This part specifies the requirements, test method, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transport, storage, safety and other requirements for petroleum p-xylene.
It is applicable to the petroleum p-xylene that is obtained through petroleum processing, and mainly used as a raw material for the production of chemical products such as polyester.
Molecular formula: C8H10.
Relative molecular mass: 106.17 (as per the international relative atomic mass in 2005).
