1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, transportation and storage as well as quality certificate, etc. of steel slag for engineering backfill.
It is applicable to the steel slag for engineering backfill of industrial and civil buildings (structures).

carbon steel slag which has been stabilized and qualified in stability

immersion expansion ratio
volume change ratio of steel slag after immersion under specified test conditions
3.3
maximum size
size of the smallest standard sieve pore through which any steel slag can completely pass through
