4 Test Environment
Normal test environment means a combination of the conditions specified in the following. Tests other than environmental adaptability tests shall be conducted in a normal test environment. The reference test environment for RF testing, audio testing, and protocol testing is shown in Figures 1, 2, and 3; the network test environment for service function test is shown in Figure 4, which contains a complete GSM/GPRS system.
Temperature: 15°C to 35°C
Relative humidity: 20% to 75%
Power supply: Nominal value provided by manufacturer
Instruments: mainly including wireless comprehensive tester, fading simulator, spectrum analyzer, audio analyzer and protocol analyzer. Wireless integrated tester is mainly used to simulate the base station equipment, communicate with the MS under test and measure some RF indexes. Fading simulator is mainly to simulate various multi-path fading modes on RF channels. Spectrum analyzer is mainly to test spectrum and conducted spurious emission. Acoustic analyzer is to test the acoustics performance of the NMS by connecting with the wireless comprehensive tester through the acoustic interface. Protocol analyzer is mainly to test protocols.
