3 Types and specifications
3.1 Types
3.1.1 Type classification of laminated metal plastic strip
According to metal types, the laminated metal plastic strips may be classified into aluminium strip, chrome-plated steel strip, stainless steel strip and copper strip.
According to plastic types, the laminated metal plastic strips may be classified into copolymer type and polyethylene type.
According to the number of laminated layers, the laminated metal plastic strips may be classified into single-sided laminated ones and double-sided laminated ones.
Notes: (1) Laminated metal plastic strip is distinguished from laminated metal plastic pipe in terms of specifications. Those with metal layer thickness greater than or equal to 0.10mm are called laminated strip, and those with metal layer thickness less than 0.10mm are called laminated foil, and their type code is no longer distinguished.
(2) See Part 5 of this standard for the type classification of laminated metal plastic foil.
