1 Scope
This standard specifies scope, terms and definitions, requirements and test methods of fibre optical cables for lighting of medical endoscopes.
This standard is applicable to general fibre optical cables for lighting which may be regarded as independent products for endoscopy and operation.
Note: general fibre optical cables refer to optical cables except those for special application.
