1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to standardizing technical work for geophysical exploration of electric power engineering, guiding operation of geophysical exploration, ensuring the quality of geophysical exploration achievements and giving full play to geophysical exploration in the construction of electric power engineering.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to electric power engineering for construction and extension (reconstruction) such as thermal power plant, nuclear power station, wind farm, solar power station, biomass energy power plant, substation (including converter station), overhead transmission line, power dispatching center and test base of electric power.
1.0.3 Geophysical exploration of engineering is important method of engineering investigation and inspection of geotechnical engineering construction quality. Using geophysical exploration method reasonably is conducive to finding out geotechnical engineering condition, improving survey efficiency so as to provide basis for technical analysis and engineering evaluation.
1.0.4 Geophysical exploration method of electric power engineering mainly includes: direct current electric method, electromagnetic method, elastic wave method, natural radioactive exploration, double-tip method and geophysical logging method; in practical application, one or several appropriate methods shall be selected according to site work condition, geophysical characteristics and various geophysical exploration methods.
1.0.5 Geophysical exploration of electric power engineering shall be combined tightly with geological investigation, geotechnical engineering investigation and test; result verification and revisit shall be valued and experience shall be summarized seriously so as to keep improving technical level.
1.0.6 New technology and new method shall be actively adopted and promoted, and new approach shall be developed for geophysical exploration of electric power engineering in order to expand application scope and improve result precision.
1.0.7 Geophysical exploration of electric power engineering shall comply with not only this code but also the relevant current national standards.
