Cashmere Woven Scarf and Shawl
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection and acceptance rules, as well as instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of cashmere woven scarves and shawls.
This standard is applicable to the pure cashmere scarves and shawls, and scarves and shawls containing 30% or more of cashmere. Pure raw or blended scarves and shawls of other special animal fiber may be referred to this standard.
This standard is not applicable to ultra-thin cashmere scarves and shawls with the mass per unit area of 50 g/m2 or less.

3 Technical Requirements
Technical requirements include safety requirements, grading requirements, internal and external quality ratings.
3.1 Safety requirements
The basic safety technical requirements for cashmere woven scarves and shawls at least shall be comply with the requirements of Class B products specified in GB 18401. The basic safety performance of cashmere woven scarves and shawls for infants shall comply with the requirements of Class A products specified in GB 31701, and the basic safety performance of cashmere woven scarves and shawls for children at least shall be comply with the requirements of Class B products specified in GB 31701.
3.2 Grading requirements
Cashmere woven scarves and shawls shall be graded by piece and divided into first-grade products and acceptable products according to the lowest results of internal and external quality inspection.
3.3 Internal quality
3.3.1 Physical indexes are graded in accordance with Table 1.

Note 1: The dimensional stability shall be assessed according to the items indicated on the instructions. For products indicated washable or dry-cleaned, the dimensional stability to washing may be assessed only.

Note 3: The breaking strength of the special products, such as combed and semi-combed 60 Nm/2 or above thin and loose structure, shall be in accordance with the contract requirements.
3.3.2 Color fastness ratings are graded in accordance with Table 2.

3 Technical Requirements
