1 Scope
This standard specifies the quantitative chemical analysis method of textiles made of multinary fibre mixtures.
This standard is applicable to textiles made of quaternary fibre mixtures or above.
2 Normative References
The following documents for the application of this document are essential. For dated reference, only the edition cited applies. For undated references, the latest edition of the normative document (including any amendments) applies.
GB/T 2910 (All Parts) Textiles - Quantitative Chemical Analysis
GB/T 8170 Rules of Rounding Off for Numerical Values & Expression and Judgment of Limiting Values
GB 9994 Conventional Moisture Regains of Textiles
3 Theory
Subject textiles made of multinary fibre mixtures to qualitative identification, then remove the non-fibrous matter by proper pretreatment method to determine proper dissolution scheme, and select specified chemical reagents to dissolve certain or several fibre component(s) in mixture, and calculate the mass percentage of each fibre component according to the loss of mass or residual fibre mass after dissolution.
4 Reagent and Apparatus
Use the apparatus and reagent specified in the adopted part of GB/T 2910.
5 Conditioning and Testing Atmosphere
Comply with the requirements of GB/T 2910.1.
6 Sampling and Pretreatment
Comply with the requirements of GB/T 2910.1.
Note: The sampling quantity of each specimen can be increased in the laboratory properly according to the fibre component quantity of the sample; for nonuniformity sample, multidraw method should be adopted by laboratory to ensure the representation of the specimen.
