Pure wool and wool blended blanket
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking of pure wool and wool blended blanket.
This standard is applicable to woven and Raschel blankets with weft yarn or surface yarn made of pure wool and such yarns made of wool (with the content of 50% or above) blended with other fibers. Blankets with wool content less than 50% and containing special animal fibers (such as cashmere, camel hair and yak wool) may also be implemented by reference to this standard.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Safety performance requirements
The basic safety technical requirements of products shall meet the requirements of GB 18401. The basic safety technical requirements of products for infants and children shall meet the relevant requirements of GB 31701.
3.2 Grading requirements
3.2.1 Products are classified into superior products, first-grade products and acceptable products.
3.2.2 The product quality is graded based on both inherent quality and appearance quality, and is determined by the lower one.
3.2.3 Inherent quality is graded by batch while appearance quality by piece.
3.3 Quality requirements
3.3.1 Overview
Quality requirements consist of requirements for inherent quality and those for appearance quality. Inherent quality includes physical indexes and color fastness, while appearance quality includes physical quality, specification and dimension and appearance defects.
3.3.2 Inherent quality grading
Inherent quality includes physical indexes and color fastness, which are graded according to Table 1.

3.3.3 Grading for appearance quality
3.3.3.1 Physical quality
Physical quality refers to the surfaces and hand feeling of blankets, which are assessed according to the sealed samples confirmed by the supplier and the purchaser or those produced by the manufacturer. Products complying with sealed samples are regarded as acceptable.
3.3.3.2 Specifications, dimensions and appearance defects
The specifications, dimensions and appearance defects shall be assessed according to the requirements of Table 2.

Note 3: For the appearance defects, in case of defects other than those specified above, they may be treated as appropriate according to their influence on use by reference to similar requirements.
4 Test methods
4.1 Safety inspection
Implement according to the items and test methods specified in GB 18401 and GB 31701.
4.2 Inherent quality inspection
4.2.1 Fiber content test
Implement according to GB/T 2910 (all parts), GB/T 16988, FZ/T 01026, FZ/T 01057 (all parts), etc.
4.2.2 Test for weight deviation rate of each piece
Implement according to FZ/T 60007.
4.2.3 Breaking strength test
Implement according to FZ/T 60007.
4.2.4 Test for non-recoverable extension
Implement according to FZ/T 60008.
4.2.5 Test for fiber falling off volume
Implement on both sides according to FZ/T 60029-1999.
4.2.6 Test for dichloromethane-soluble matter
Implement according to FZ/T 20018.
4.2.7 Test for dimensional change rate by water washing
Implement according to GB/T 8628, GB/T 8629-2017 and GB/T 8630; specimen dimension: 500mm×400mm (L×W); laundering procedure: 1×4G; drying procedure: C——dry flat.
4.2.8 Test for dimensional change rate by dry cleaning
