1 Scope
This standard specifies technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and other technical features for low wool content and wool like knitting goods.
This standard is applicable to quality identification for low wool content knitting goods with wool content below 30% and non wool fiber pure knitting goods or blended wool like knitting goods.

3 Technical Requirements
Technical requirements include safety requirements, grading requirements and grading for inherent quality and appearance quality.
3.1 Safety requirements
Safety of low wool content and wool like knitting goods shall meet the requirements of relevant compulsory national standard.
3.2 Grading requirements
The quality grade of low wool content and wool like knitting goods takes piece as a unit; and be comprehensively evaluated according to the inspection results of inherent quality and appearance quality and shall be graded by the lowest item of them. Low wool content and wool like knitting goods are divided into first-grade product and second-grade product; products below second grade shall be graded as substandard product.
3.3 Inherent quality grading
3.3.1 Inherent quality grading shall take lot as unit (each delivery unit of the same product is a lot).
3.3.2 Inherent quality grading depends on overall assessment of physical index and color fastness; and shall be graded by the lowest item of them.
3.3.3 Physical index shall be graded according to those specified in Table 1.
