Casual wear
1 Scope
This standard specifies requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of casual wear.
This standard is applicable to the casual wear mainly made of woven shell.
This standard is not applicable to garments for infants aged 36 months and below.

4 Requirements
4.1 Instructions for use
The instructions for use of the product shall comply with GB/T 5296.4. The products for 3-14-year-old children shall also meet the requirements of GB 31701.
4.2 Size and specification
4.2.1 Size shall be set according to the requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
4.2.2 Specification of main parts of finished products is designed according to the relevant requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts) and GB/T 2668.
4.3 Raw and accessory materials
Shell and lining shall meet the relevant requirements of this standard. Lining, accessory materials, sewing thread and the like shall be suitable to the shell; button, ornamental button, zipper and other accessories shall be smooth in surface and free of burr, damage, defect and accessible sharp tip or edge. The zipper shall mesh in good condition and run smoothly.
Note: Accessible sharp tips or edges refer to the sharp edges and tips on finished product that may cause harm to human skin.
4.4 Warp and weft yarn
The yarn skewness of the top collar, bodice, sleeve and trousers shall not be greater than 3%. The front bottom hem shall be free from any upwarp.
4.5 Strip and plaid matching
4.5.1 Obvious strips or plaids of 1.0 cm or above on shell shall comply with those specified in Table 1 (except in special design).

4.5.2 For the products that have obvious strips or plaids of more than 0.5 cm and less than 1.0 cm on the shell, strips and plaids are matched with each other on pocket and the front, with mutual deviation not greater than 0.2 cm.
4.5.3 The skewness of strip and plaid patterns shall not be greater than 3%.
4.5.4 The grain direction of nip-up and down pile and checkerboard weave shell shall be consistent all over the body.
4.5.5 Shell with special pattern shall be subject to the main pattern and the grain direction all over the body shall be consistent.
4.6 Color difference
4.6.1 The color difference of the front fly and under fly shall be higher than Grade 4. The color difference of top collar, lapel, front shawl from the bodice shall be greater than Grade 4, and that of other surface part shall not be lower than Grade 4.
4.6.2 The color difference of lining shall not be lower than Grade 3-4.
4.7 Appearance defects
The defect permissibility for each part of finished product shall comply with those specified in Table 2. See Figure 1 for division of each part of finished product. Only one defect within permissibility is permissible at each part. Defects not listed in Table 2 are implemented by reference to similar defects in Table 2 according to their form. Special design or decoration is free from such limitation.

4 Requirements
4.1 Instructions for use
The instructions for use of the product shall comply with GB/T 5296.4. The products for 3-14-year-old children shall also meet the requirements of GB 31701.
4.2 Size and specification
4.2.1 Size shall be set according to the requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts).
4.2.2 Specification of main parts of finished products is designed according to the relevant requirements of GB/T 1335 (all parts) and GB/T 2668.
4.3 Raw and accessory materials
Shell and lining shall meet the relevant requirements of this standard. Lining, accessory materials, sewing thread and the like shall be suitable to the shell; button, ornamental button, zipper and other accessories shall be smooth in surface and free of burr, damage, defect and accessible sharp tip or edge.
