1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of helmets for firemen.
This standard is applicable to helmets for firemen used in fire fighting and rescue.

The enclosure of helmet for firemen.

Buffer layer
Comfort cushion layer located between suspension and shell internal surfaces to absorb striking energy.

Suspension
Lining belt or pad within helmet for firemen and contact with head.
