1 Subject Content and Application Scope
This standard specifies the shape, dimensions, position and strength of the license plates (brackets) on motor vehicles and trailers.
This standard is applicable to vehicles of Categories M, N and O.

3 Terminology
3.1 License plate
A panel based on which the license is directly mounted.
3.2 License bracket
A device mounted on the vehicle for holding the license.
4 Shape and Dimensions of the License Plate
The license plate may be a flat rectangular plate (it could be a curvature plate under the premise of ensuring the installation requirements of license). The overall dimensions of the license plate and the dimensions of installation holes of license on the license plate (bracket) shall be determined in accordance with GA 36.
