Inspection Methods
A.1 General requirements
Unless otherwise specified, analytically pure reagents and Grade 3 water (specified in GB/T 6682) shall be used in this standard; if there is no requirement, standard solution, the standard solution for impurity determination, preparations and products used in test shall be prepared according to those specified in GB/T 601, GB/T 602 and GB/T 603. All solutions used in the test are aqueous solution, unless other solvents are indicated to be used for preparation.
A.2 Identification test
A.2.1 Reagents and materials
A.2.1.1 Hydrochloric acid.
A.2.1.2 Nitric acid.
A.2.1.3 Hydrochloric acid solution: 1→1 000.
A.2.1.4 Saturated bromine solution.
A.2.1.5 3,5-vesorcinol-ethanol solution: 1→10.
A.2.1.6 Ammonium ferric sulfate-hydrochloric acid solution: 1→1 000.
A.2.1.7 Magnesium oxide test solution.
A.2.1.8 Sodium hydroxide solution 40g/L.
A.2.1.9 Sodium hydroxide solution: 1→25.
A.2.1.10 Ammonia solution: 2+3.
A.2.1.11 Ammonium molybdate solution: weigh 6.5g of molybdenum trioxide powder, add into ammonia solution (14.5+14) to dissolve it. After cooling, add nitric acid solution (32+40) while stirring, then filter the solution with asbestos after it is placed for 48h. This solution cannot be preserved for a long-time. Measure 5mL of the solution, add into 2mL of sodium hydrogen phosphate solution (1→8), at the time a large amount of yellow sedimentation shall be generated immediately or after the solution is heated slightly, otherwise the solution is unavailable. Preserve the solution in a dark place, if any sedimentation forms, use the supernatant liquid.
