Light sources - Safety requirements
1 Scope
This document specifies the safety requirements of the light source, including general requirements, marking, electrical safety, temperature-related requirements, mechanical safety, abnormal state, fault state and end-of-life safety, moisture resistance and dust prevention, photobiological safety requirements and other technical requirements directly related to the protection of personal health and life & property safety, and it also describes the corresponding verification methods.
It is applicable to light source products.
Note: In this document, the "light source" specially refers to the "electric light source", lamps, LED modules, OLED panels and other products.

light sources mainly serving the people or other creatures with visual perception, and applied in general lighting, local lighting, regional lighting, emergency lighting and other occasions
Note: The light sources for general lighting purposes may also produce non-visual effects.

light sources for special lighting purposes
light sources designed and manufactured with lighting or signal indication functions in specific application fields
