1.0.1 This code is formulated with a view to make the design of high voltage electrical installation (short for electrical installation) (3~110kV) be safe, economic feasibility, easy access and maintenance and state-of-art technology.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the designs of construction and extension of high voltage electrical installation project (3~110kV).
1.0.3 As for the design of electrical installation, the equipment shall be adopted and the disposal project shall be established according to the requirements of power load property, capacity, environmental condition and operation, setting, maintenance. The electric installation and material which provided with high efficiency and low energy consumption shall be adopted when the technical economy is logical.
1.0.4 The conjugation of long term and near term is required for the design of electrical installation according to the project character, scale and development planning, and it is required to give priority to the near term, at the same time, the room for extension shall be reserved befittingly.
1.0.5 The principle of optimal land utilization must be adopted in the design of electrical installation.
1.0.6 Not only the requirements stipulated in this code, but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation shall be complied with in the design of electrical installation.
