1.0.1 This code was formulated in order to unify the technical repuirements for the planning, design and construction of pipelines coordination and the general survey of underground pipelines in petrochemical plant and to achieve reasonable layout, safety and reliablity, advanced technology, economic feasibility and convenient management.
1.0.2 This code applies to the planning, design and construction the coordination of pipelines in those constructed, renovated or extended systematic public works with those process pipelines, the underground pipeline exploration (detecting and surveying) and the establishment and application of the information management system for pipelines coordination in petrochemical plant, as well as the pipelines coordination in the oil and gas field and the station yard of oil gas transmission project. But it does not apply to the design and construction of pipelines coordination in process devices, system unit, and facilities for storage and transportation.
1.0.3 This code specifies the basic technical repuirements for the pipelines coordination in petrochemical plant. And the pipelines coordination shall be implemented according to the requirements of the national laws and administrative regulations if this code conflicts with the requirements of the relevant national laws and administrative regulations.
1.0.4 The planning, design, and construction of pipelines coordination, the underground pipeline exploration (detecting and surveying) as well as the establishment and application of information management system for pipelines in petrochemical plant not only shall implement this code, but also shall be in accordance with those specified in the current relevant national standards.
