1 Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, inspection method, inspection rules as well as marking, packing, transportation and storage of drinking natural mineral water.
This standard is applicable to the production, inspection and marketing of drinking natural mineral water.

The following terms and definitions are applicable to this standard.

Drinking natural mineral water
It refers to the water that gushes naturally or collected through well drilling from deep under ground, contains a certain amount of mineral substances, microelements or other compositions, is not contaminated in a certain area and has been protected against contamination by taking preventive measures; generally, its dynamic indexes, such as chemical compositions, discharge and water temperature, are relatively stable within the natural periodical fluctuation range.
