1.0.1 This Code is worked out for guaranteeing the installation quality for such busbar devices as hard busbar, soft busbar, insulator, hardware fittings, and wall bushing, etc. as well for improving the installation technology and ensuring safe running of equipment.
1.0.2 This Code is applicable for the erection and acceptance of the installation works for busbar
devices of 500kV and below.
1.0.3 The installation of busbar device has been constructed according to the approved design.
1.0.4 The transportation and storage of equipment and materials shall meet this Code, and when the product has any special requirement, it shall meet requirement of the product.
1.0.5 The storage period before installation of equipment and materials shall be limited to one year and below. When they shall be stored for longer time, it shall be done according to special specification for storing the equipment and materials.
1.0.6 The equipment and materials used shall meet the national technical standard currently in force, and shall be equipped with quality certificates. The equipment shall be furnished with nameplate (s).
1.0.7 After the equipment and materials arrived at the site, one shall make the following acceptance check in a timely way:
1.0.7.1 The package and sealing shall be in a good way.
1.7.0.2 Check in unpacked way, the specifications shall meet the design, and the accessories and spares shall be complete.
1.7.0.3 The technical documents of the product shall be complete.
1.7.0.4 To have visual inspection according to this Code.
1.0.8 The safety technical measures during the construction shall meet this Code and concerned safety technical standard in force and technical documents of the product. For any important operations, one shall make up safety technical measures in advance.
1.0.9 The erection of construction work concerning with the installation of the busbar device shall meet the following requirements:
1.0.9.1 The quality of the building and structures concerning with the installation of the busbar device shall meet current national code for erection and acceptance of construction works; when the design and equipment have special requirement, it shall also meet accordingly.
1.0.9.2 Before the installation of the busbar device, the construction work shall meet the following:
1) The base, framework meet the design of the electric device;
2) The construction of roof and floor slabs has been completed and shall not leak;
3) The construction of the indoor floor base is completed, and datum mark for plastering shall be marked on the wall;
4) The foundation and framework have reached to the strength for installation, the quality of welding assembly shall be as required, the passage slabs, rail, platform for high-level framework shall be complete and firm;
5) All the decoration works that may damage the busbar device installed or can’t be done after installing the busbar device have completed;
6) All doors and windows are installed, the roads for construction are unblocked;
7) The preformed holes and embedded iron parts for the busbar device shall meet the design.
1.0.9.3 After installing and before putting into operation the busbar device, the construction work shall meet the following requirements:
1) The decoration works such as embedded parts, hole punching and reaming have completed;
2) All protective doors, rails and units isolated from the live parts are complete;
3) The works couldn’t be done after power application and may influence the safe operation have completed;
4) The installations for construction shall be dismounted and the site shall be cleaned.
1.0.10 He fasteners for installing the busbar device, except for the foundation bolts, all shall be Zn-plated products meeting national standard, and the outdoor fasteners shall use thermal Zn-plated products.
1.0.11 The insulators and porcelains for wall bushings shall meet current national standard—The Technical Condition for High-voltage Insulator Porcelain—and relative technical condition for electric porcelains.
1.0.12 In addition to this Code, the erection and acceptance of busbar device shall also meet concerned national standard and code in force.
