1 Scope
This standard specifies the test conditions, test procedure, test data processing and test reports for the reliability running test of motor vehicles.
This standard is applicable to all kinds of vehicles on the road, and to other types of vehicles by reference.

3 Terms and definitions

customer usage correlation
reproduction of service load for the target customer in the testing ground or test stand
3.3
general reliability running test
reliability test carried out on the road of the non-testing ground according to certain specifications

accelerated reliability running test
reliability test with a certain acceleration coefficient and that is carried out on the road of the testing ground

4 Test conditions
4.1 Test environment
The general reliability running test and accelerated reliability running test shall be carried out under a variety of weather conditions, and vehicles used in special areas or for special purposes shall be tested under corresponding conditions (e.g. alpine areas, plateau areas, high-temperature dry-hot areas and high-temperature humid areas).
4.2 Test vehicle
4.2.1 The vehicle shall meet the technical requirements specified by the manufacturer.
4.2.2 The speedometer and odometer installed on the vehicle shall be inspected and corrected according to the method specified in GB/T 12548.
4.2.3 The number of vehicles: passenger vehicles shall not be less than 3, and the number of commercial vehicles and electric vehicles shall be determined by the manufacturers themselves.
4.2.4 Model configuration: representative model should be adopted.
4.3 Test load
The test load shall be determined according to the requirements on the customer usage correlation or manufacturer design, and then conducted according to the method specified in GB/T 12534.
5 Test procedures
5.1 Parameter measurement and adjustment of the complete vehicle
5.1.1 Quality parameter measurement for the complete vehicle
The quality parameter measurement for the complete vehicle shall be carried out according to the method specified in GB/T 12674.
5.1.2 Parameter measurement and adjustment of vehicle wheel alignment
The parameter measurement and adjustment of vehicle wheel alignment shall be carried out according to the manufacturer's specifications on wheel alignment.
5.1.3 Parameter measurement for the trafficability of the complete vehicle
Parameter measurement for the trafficability (e.g. approach angle, departure angle, ramp angle and minimum ground clearance) shall be conducted according to the method specified in GB/T 12673.
5.1.4 Measurement and adjustment of key torque
The torque of fasteners in key parts shall be measured and adjusted according to the requirements of product instructions or design specifications. After the torque of fasteners is confirmed, their positions shall be marked.
